NEW STUDENTS REGISTRATION
New students are welcome to join the Dojo at any time during a session. If you would like to learn more about our traditional Okinawan style of karate and our Dojo, please join us for a free trial class. Simply arrive at the Dojo 10 minutes before the start of a class.
Once you then decide to register, please submit our online New Student Registration Form.
CLASS TIMES AND FEES

Children 7-10 years old:

Classes: Tues and Thurs 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

Session fees: $125. (for a 14 week session)

Youths (11+)/adults:
-
Classes: Tues and Thurs 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm.

Sessions fees: $160. (for a 14 week session)

NOTES:

The session fees will be prorated based on the new student's start date.

No payment required when submitting the New Student Registration Form. An invoice will follow.

REGISTRATION
RETURNING STUDENTS (i.e. those who have attended one or more sessions): Submit the online Returning Student Registration Form.
RETURNING BLACK BELTS (i.e. those who have attended one or more sessions): Submit the online Returning Black Belt Registration Form.

FALL 2026 SESSION
Tuesday 15 September to Thursday 17 December
KEY DATES/ACTIVITIES

Friday 28 August: Deadline for registration of returning students and Black Belts.

Tuesday 15 September: Deadline for payment of student session fees invoices. For those who requested two invoices, the payment for the second invoice is due on Thursday 15 October.

Tuesday 15 September: First classes of session.

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Children (7 - 10 years old).

6:45 pm - 8:00 pm: Youths (11+)/adults.

Tuesday 15 December: Testing (more info to be provided in November).

Thursday 17 December: Demonstrations, presentation of test results, presentation of the Student of the Year Award and end of year event. This is the last activity of the session.
DOJO CLOSED FROM 18 DECEMBER 2026 TO 1 FEBRUARY 2027. WINTER/SPRING 2027 SESSION WILL START ON 2 FEBRUARY.

World Karate Day is celebrated annually on 25 October. It was established by Okinawa Prefecture to commemorate the 1936 meeting where masters formally named the art, with events planned for 2026 to celebrate this legacy. The Dojo will celebrate this event during the week of 20 October, including a 100 Kata Challenge. More details will be provided in September.
